The Acuter Traverse Pro GoTo mount is a very lightweight, computer-controlled azimuth mount for astronomy. With built-in Bluetooth and WiFi, it can be used anywhere and controlled wirelessly via smartphone or tablet. This requires the installation of the free Acuter Sky app for iOS or Android.
The mount can support telescopes weighing up to 5 kilograms and allows you to automatically navigate to more than 11,000 celestial objects in the app’s extensive database. Once you have entered your coordinates into the app and followed a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to search for your favourite objects in the universe using your telescope via the intuitive touchscreen interface.
A sturdy stainless steel tripod with accessory tray and extendable legs is included in the set.
